My photo equipment… and video

I'm not a Tech fan. or a Geek and even less a 'pixel peeper'. I chose my material so that it does the 'job'. Sturdy and solid considering my travels.
As I want to offer quality content while keeping a reasonable weight, I went for material in the so-called 'Micro 4/3' format.

OLYMPUS/OM SYSTEM
OM-1: I am serene with this material: Really TROPICALIZED and ROBUST
Backup camera: Olympus OM-D EM1 Mk2
OM-1: A box built like a Rock (is that French?!) With features that other brands crave. Probably the best stabilization on the market and an incredibly well defined image.

For the low lights, I tried the Sony A7 III Full Frame…. fantastic specs but I hated its ergonomics and handling and...I sold it!

DJI POCKET 2
What incredible material! Easy decision to get the Pocket 2 as it ticks almost all the boxes for my needs: light, small and powerful:

3-axis stabilization with integrated gimbal. .
With the Combo Creator, which I recommend, you have access to a very good quality wireless microphone.
Your smartphone can control the Pocket 2 but also serve as a display screen.

DJI MAVIC AIR 2
Drone quite light and small (570g) drone! Capable of beautiful shots.
Despite its small size, it shoots at 4K/60fps with a 1/2 inch sensor.
When you're flying, the 25-minute range can be a bit tight. I recommend the “Fly more combo pack”. For a few euros more, you have 3 batteries, extra wings, a charger and a very useful bag.
The drone is an incredible device. – It's a pity that the regulations keep getting heavier and the flight zones keep shrinking.
TRIPODS
GITZO
GITZO is one of the best brand in the world with a certain cost, it must be admitted. But one thing is certain, I can trust him for my very long poses that I love.
Gitzo has several series and the GT 2542 is a 'Mountaineer'. Between the light 'Traveler' and the big 'Systematic', I chose the in-between!
Anyway, the GT 2542 keeps a contained weight: 1.68 kg
For the head, I chose the Sirui K-30X ball head
MANFROTTO
When the wind is not too strong, I go out with my Manfrotto Befree Advanced. Hyperlight: 1.49kg with his head! This is the one I use for my videos.
